sad Deathly day for Firefighters

I am devastated! I just heard horrific news that 9 firefighters have been killed in the line of duty in Charleston when a furniture building collapsed on them. I do not know if people that are not involved with firefighters actually realize the dangers of the job. Firefighters are under paid and underappreciated! Every time I hear of these incidents, it brings back memories of the Church fire 1999, when my husband came so close to death and 3 others were killed in the line of duty due to a building collapse. Please say a prayer for these families that now have to continue on without their precious loved one and also pray for the firefighters that put their lifes on the line daily. If you can, do something to show your appreciation for your local firefighters, even if it is just telling them thanks for their work when you see them out in the city.
