Hill Country Bluebonnets BEST SEASON EVER

I Learned that bluebonnets grow just about anywhere!

I also learned that bluebonnets are very hard to photograph!

This year has been the most abundant amount of flowers in 50 years, especially in Mason County.
We traveled the back roads for 4 days, logged in over 800 miles and smelled the sweetest smells, as well as viewing the best bluebonnets at peak going on up hills and thru fields as far as the eye can see.

All I need to say is GO,
do not wait any longer.

If you would like to know some awesome places I will tell you some!We had a picnic here!  Best EVER!

Rabbit attacks lettuce

See what rabbits do, they steal your food.
You can see the blood meal I sprinkled on the left of the picture.
It is supposed to keep the rabbits away from MY feast.
Funny thing is they only liked the green buttercrunch.
They did not touch the red leaf.

the ultimate snowball

I love these Texas Spring Snowballs!  Viburnums are the best this year especially!
