Heatwave and spring fever

I feel some SPRING fever comin on!!!
Yesterday was indeed a heatwave.
This week I have spent most of my time outside.
I have enjoyed
walking the dog daily,
building a stone sidewalk (not yet complete),
watering seedlings and transplants,
admiring the blooming daffodils
(I hope to plant 100 next year, I just love these cheery flowers),
spray painting some frames and bunnies,
reading on my adriondack chair,
bird watching,
planning what needs to be done(if I wanna do it)
and so on...it has been a terrific soul filling week.
And now today it is cooling off and feels like the usual February day!
I cannot believe March is sooooooo clooooooose!!!!!!!!!

Cool Season vegies need rain

Finally the moon was right last week and I planted the root vegies (asparagus, potatoes, carrots, onions, & more onions). Now I need rain....

Ben transplanted a few plants for me and they need rain.... oh where oh where is the rain???? I have lettuce and broccoli waiting for the right moon next week and then maybe then we will receive that rain.... until then I will just water away all the new transplants and vegies!

Today is calling for 75 degrees and sunshine, I plan on enjoying it. I hope to even find some photographic moments to post on here.

Great Book

I just finished reading an awesome book that my Aunt Debbie gave me to read on our Ski Trip!!
Same kind of Different as me. By Ron Hall and Denver Moore. Excellent read about friendship between a wealthy art dealer and a homeless man that spent part of his life as a slave and how a wonderful lady brought them together with some Heavenly assistance. This is a true story that takes place in Fort Worth, Texas!!
