Amazing how life changes......

I have not blogged in sooo long.

It was too difficult to do after my mom died back in 2011.  Today I decided to read my blog all the way through.  I have changed a lot over the last 2 years.  Different circumstances thrown before me have led my life another direction.  I hope I still have enough of my mind to write because it seems that there are spider webs all over my brain.  Hmmm...

running away

Isn't my mom beautiful!!!

friday i will run away again,
i will run to the coast and hill country,
i hope it will lift my spirits,
lately days have been rough, super duper rough,
i really don't even wanna be around,
the pain is too heavy,
how will i survive without her,
she was my go to girl,
my everyday talk,
my lifter upper,
i miss her so much,
i have to run,
my heart is too heavy to stay,
i need a change of scenery,
my dear husband will help me escape the misery,
if only for a moment i could feel good,
i sure hope the bluebonnets are there,
i cannot wait to feel the sand in my toes,
and smell the ocean air,
surely that will snap me out of this horrible dark stretch of days.

Spring Break Campout at Lake Ray Roberts

 Roasting Marshmellows

Kylee jumping waves (windy day at lake)
 Luke jumping his wave!!
 Sand Play
 Fishing
Lake is low, loved natures art!

Peace in the sand, who doesnt like to bury themselves in sand?
Bella joined in on the fun.
It got so hot (almost 90) so we got out the swimsuits. ; )
Luke buried everything and said he was burying treasure.  He made a treasure map.  Kylee was a Pirate and tried to steal his treasure.  We asked Luke "What does a pirate do?" his answer was "Not brush his teeth"
Adorable
 Hiking
 Biking
 April Playing Ball with Luke
Uncle Roby teaching how to climb trees
by the end of each day exhaustion set in!
We really loved Ray Roberts Lake, Isle de bois Unit.  It started out at 30 degrees the first day of camp(Monday) and by the last day (Friday) it was a whopping 85+.

Saw my friend and went for a hug

Today I saw one of my dear friends, while I was on my way to dad's house.  I couldn't resist so I turned around and pulled in the parking lot, jumped out, and scurried over for a great big comfort hug.  I was so glad I did because then she asked me to walk with her and we got to visit and catch up on life.  I needed this wonderful surprise today.  Thank you, Joyismygoal!!!
